Bookstore and BART 7/13/2010

Happy Friday, Bloggers!  Well, here's the last part of my batch of sketches I did while showing my sister around SanFrancisco.  These were done at the Borders Bookstore in San Francisco and on the subway BART station on the way home to Berkeley:

Have a great weekend everyone, and keep on drawing!

Bookstore sketching 4/25/2010 Part 2

Well, here's part 2 of the bookstore sketch series.  As I mentioned before, I was getting over a cold and wasn't really feeling my lines.  I felt like I was struggling just to get a dynamic pose but I've made a vow to scan in each page even though I'm not a hundred percent happy with em.

Have a great weekend everyone and come back sunday for more Cafe Sketches!!!!

Bookstore sketching 4/25/2010 Part 1

Hey Bloggers.  I went to the local bookstore to draw this past weekend.  I was fighting off a nasty cold and my sketches were a bit off.  For some reasons, i was laboring over my drawings a tad longer than normal and not getting a better flow to some of the poses.

I've made a vow to scan in each page of my sketchbook even though I'm not a hundred percent happy with each drawing.  I can use each page as a learning experience to see what I can improve.  That is the point of keeping a sketchbook.
I forced myself to draw smaller here and I felt like it was a bit more successful.
Stay tuned for Part 2 on Friday!
