Hey Bloggers! Thought I'd post some of my hands doodles from the ol sketchbook today! Going to school at CalArts for four years, we all had it pounded into our heads how important it was to be able to draw hands. We were alll given the Milt Kahl modelsheets of Merlin's or Roger's hands.... Drawing those hands may feel like "eating your vegetables" sometimes but a cool hand pose can really add that extra bit of oomph to your character!!

Hey really nice hands! Yeah once you get a handle on them, hands can be one the most enjoyable things to draw. Milt Kahl's were killer!
