New Orleans travel journal Part 4

Hey Bloggers!  Well, here's part 4 of my New Orleans travel journal.  One thing that we never lacked for was great music in the Big Easy and I made sure to sketch as many musicians as I could.  This first one was a trumpet player who played some amazing jazz at Maison Bourbon on Bourbon street (pictured above)...
on our second full day in the Big Easy, I made sure to go sketching at Rue de la Course Cafe on Magazine St.  It reminded me alot of Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles with all the chic and trendy people hanging about.

....Here's a couple more sketches of musicians I saw.  This was a band who played in the Spotted Cat Music club.  The woman was heavily influenced by Billie Holiday and I could readily imagine being transported back to the 40s while I listened to her music.
