Ink Doodles

Hey Bloggers, here are some ink drawings that emerged from the old doodling pad....

This first one I colored in Photoshop, trying to stay in a more monochromatic color scheme. Brrrrr......

I wanted to color this one but I just couldnt figure out which colors to use on her. I may go back one day and have it all colored but for now, you can just enjoy the black and white inks:)

Still Life-Lemons and Napkins

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, Bloggers but I've been feeling a little under the weather. Anyways, I havent done one of these in awhile and thought I'd post a still life for you guys out there. The lemons could've been a little more yellow and less "dirty" but I was fighting the watercolors every step of the way....

pencil and watercolors.

Hard Boiled

This was a sketch I did awhile back and decided to scan in and play around with in Photoshop.

Its pretty clear I was going crazy with the rectangle tool. I'm not the best at Photoshop but I'm slowly learning more each time out. I'll try to post more digital stuff.

Mike Seaver will save your Ass from Eternal Damnation!

Hey Bloggers!!! So the other day, I was channel surfing and caught good ol Mike Seaver (aka Kirk Cameron) on TBN (aka The God Channel , as I refer to it). He was preaching the good word and it made me repent all my dark deeds in the past lest I should burn in everlasting damnation with the Dark Prince himself.
Anyhooo, after sitting there, engrossed in his sermon for an interminably looooong 25 seconds, I decided to turn the channel. But it was too late...Mike Seaver's grinning face had burned itself into my cerebral cortex....so what did I do? I took out my sketchbook and proceeded to bash it on my head for a few minutes. Then a day later, when the image still would not go away, I decided to do this tribute to good ol Kirk Cameron!

First I did a pencil sketch, then I inked it with Black India Ink, scanned it and followed that up with some good ol Photoshop.
Enjoy, Bloggers! I'll see you in Hell.

6 Things few people know about ....me.

Hmmm...after getting Tagged by Alina last week, I'm supposed to put down 6 things that few people know about me...Hmm... Ok, here we go (in no particular order):

6) I read too much (like 4 different books at a time)
5) My tv guilty pleasures are "I love New York" and "Top Chef"
4) I take longer than my wife to get ready (hey, I gotta take my contacts on and off!)
3) I used to work in a deli washing dishes for minimum wage
2) I can swing dance....badly
1) I love Boston Baked Beans

welll, there they are. Nothing too exciting, I'm afraid but all you Bloggers can use this against me one day... So watch out, people....someone out there will be TAGGED next!
