Commute Sketch- Chinese man on the train

Since I've been commuting to work over the last month, I've been using that time to do productive things such as reading and sketching....

This was an old chinese man on the northbound Caltrain to SanFrancisco. I think he had a super hard day at work which would explain why he was WIPED OUT for the whole 35 minute trainride. I was fortunate enough to see that he had nobody sitting across from him so I took the seat and sketched him the whole time:) This was done with pen and prisma color.

Chris,

That is a beautiful sketch. I'm always nevervous when sketchijng people that they are going to get uncomfortable.
I guess having them asleep kind of gets rid of that worry.
: )

I need to do more people sketching.

Your stuff is awesome.

I love how loose this sketch is! I like how organic the shapes are. Even though he's asleep, there's so much life to it.
