Homeless Guys

Lately, I've been observing some homeless people while sketching so I've decided to share some of those with you....

In this next one, the guy had such a great pose which for some reason, I just kept on struggling to get on paper. He was kinda dozing in and out so I just kept drawing him. Occassionally, he'd open his eyes, look around and then go back to sleep. I still feel the drawings are a bit overworked and a little stiff but I think I've captured his personality somehow.

After scanning this in, I put a layer of a brown paper bag over it....Don't really know why but it just felt right.
