Here's another one from the sketchbook...I think his shirt could've been blacker and his pants a little lighter but oh well...Hope you guys aren't tired of these yet:)

Hey Chris,

Thanks for your comment on my blog, always appreciated. You have a lot of great work here, this post in particular reminds me of a good friend of mine (only he doesn't wear glasses.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more!

Ha. Those long commutes are fantastic for people-watching. And for seeing what garrish seat design/cloth combo public transit has managed to put out. Super fun sketch!

I don't think people ever get tired of lifedrawings and caricatures. If you think his shirt should be darker, why don't do just add another layering on top of the one you've painted? It would make his pants lighter in the process.

Anyways, nice sketch, I like it

Wonderfully loose sketches here Chris. Reminds me a lot of Alina's work. Great great stuff. I dig the little Billy design too.

No not tired of them at all, in fact I think this one is my favorite... love the purple feeling of this, not everyone handles that color well, but you kept it very alive, great job! Interesting character too.
