Commute Sketch-Crossword Puzzle!!!

Saw this dude on CalTrain. He looked very professor-like and was doing a crossword puzzle on the way home.

And speaking of crossword puzzles, I highly recommend the documentary, WORDPLAY, which is now
available on dvd. It features NY Times puzzle editor Will Shortz and a bunch of puzzle fanatics who are determined to become crossword puzzle champions. Very entertaining celebrities like Bill Clinton, Jon Stewart ("Bring it Shortz!!! Bring it!!") and Ken Burns throw in their two cents along the way.

To Fall

Did this at work today while reminiscing about home.....

Every year around this time, I miss the sights and sounds of home (the east coast). It's really beautiful when the leaves change their colors and fall all over the ground. I have fond memories of raking the leaves with my brothers and sisters. We're all decked out in our heavy coats trying to fight off that biting cold before the snow starts. All you people who have ever been to the east coast...you know what I mean!!!

Random Sketchbook Pages!!!

Just thought I'd share some random sketchbook pages with you guys today:

This first one is just some of the people I encounter on my daily commute either on the bus , shuttle or train.

This one is just me having fun with my watercolors while at work one day.

And finally this last one is of a guy at Starbucks. It was already about 9:30 but he walks in like a tired ol' zombie. He TOTALLY needed a dose of caffine!!!

Commute Sketch-PDI shuttle

Hey all...thought I'd share with you a view of what I see everyday as I hop on the shuttle from the train station to my workplace, PDI. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the the trainstation to work so I decided to draw this. Despite how bumpy it got, I'm still pretty happy with the way this turned out.

pen and watercolors.
